Stardust collects information to power real-time, grounded conversations:

• User Queries: We process the text of your questions to provide accurate, cited answers.

• Brand Context: When interacting with a specific publisher (e.g., Glossy or Sneaker News), we process data within that brand’s ecosystem to personalize your experience.

• Communication Identifiers: For agents operating on platforms like WhatsApp, we collect phone numbers or email addresses to maintain conversation continuity and provide requested updates.

3. Our Conversational Architecture

Unlike standard AI models, the Stardust system is built on a specialized 7–9 agent structure designed for high-fidelity information retrieval:

• Grounded Citations over RAG: We prioritize direct, verifiable citations from the publisher’s trusted content over generic AI generation.

• The Editor Loop: If our agents cannot answer a query, the interaction may be flagged for an "Editor Loop." This allows publishers to provide a grounded response manually, ensuring the system learns to address unanswered questions accurately in the future.

• Model Agnosticism: We utilize various Large Language Models (LLMs) to process queries. However, our third-party providers are strictly prohibited from using your interactions to train their general models.

4. Enterprise & Publisher Data Protection

We recognize that Stardust handles proprietary and mission-critical information for world-class brands:

• Domain Isolation: Data and interactions for one publisher are strictly isolated from others. There is no cross-brand data leakage.

• No Training on Proprietary Data: We do not train our global AI models on a publisher’s proprietary content or private user interactions without explicit, documented authorization.

• Technical Safeguards: We employ end-to-end encryption for data in transit and multi-factor authentication for all internal system access.

5. Third-Party Services & Hardware

Stardust agents may interface with external environments:

• Messaging Platforms: When using Stardust via WhatsApp Business Accounts, your data is also subject to the privacy policies of Meta.

• Hardware & AR: As we explore the application of Stardust technology to AR glasses, we maintain "Edge-First" privacy principles to ensure ambient data is processed securely and with minimal retention.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

• Interaction Data: We retain conversation logs only as long as necessary to provide service continuity and support the "Editor Loop" for quality assurance.

• Deletion: You may request the deletion of your conversation history or user profile at any time. Once processed, your data is scrubbed from our active databases within 30 days.
